He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Mary Ann (McCloud) Smith; two daughters, Tina Swietzer and husband Tommy of Blaine and Sherry Smith and fiance Charlie of Elk Garden; seven grandchildren, Katelynn, Tommy and Dylan Sweitzer, Bentley and Noah Birchland, and Trystan and Tevlan Baker; two sisters, Mamie Keplinger and husband Dave of Blaine and Nancy Gower and husband Roger of Hutton, MD; mother in law, Nellie McCloud; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Baker; a brother, Charles “Chuck” Smith; and father in law, John McCloud.
