She is survived by her children, Sharon L. Everd and husband Nicholas of Oakland, Richard W. Skipper and wife Barbara of Oakland and Ronald M. Skipper and wife Janine of Orlando, FL; seven grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Cathell and husband Mitchell of Oakland, Wilma Bernard of Cumberland, and Mary Harvey and husband Joe of Oakland; four brothers, Leroy Bernard and wife Patricia of Oakland, John Bernard and wife Norma of Oakland, Robert Bernard and wife Joann of Oakland, and Alvin Bernard and wife Nancy of Swanton; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Sebert Skipper, in 1998.
