Rick and family, I just heard about Lesia and I am so very sorry. Even though I haven't seen or talked to her for awhile, when I think about her I laugh at all of the fun times we had together. She was always friendly, always laughing and a great friend. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am truly blessed to have known lesia. I met her through my aunt Sharon rinker. Those two were like Lucy and ethyl. Never a dull moment. I have a lot of funny memories of them two. I know she was a legacy of her own. She will most be definitely missed. The lord has called her home. So she is now at peace in his arms... My condolences go out to Rick and Amanda.

Mrs. Leisa’s Family,
About 9 years ago, I started my schooling at KPMS. My family was so worried about how that would go because I can’t speak for or protect myself. And just as He always does, God worked it out. He sent Mrs. Leisa to be my aide, my voice, and the voice of my family. And what a voice she was! She saw to it that everything that was needed to help me reach my potential was made available to us. And it was done with such love and passion that my family quickly relaxed knowing that God’s hand was on me, and Mrs. Leisa was His hands on this earth for that role in my life. Thank you Mrs. Leisa’s family for sharing such a beautiful person with us. There will always be a special place in my heart and the hearts of my family for Mrs. Leisa, and we will always remember her with love. Our deepest condolences.

Amanda and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Leisa was such a wonderful person, she was so full of life and always had a smile to share with the world. Every time that she came to the office, it never failed,we always had a discussion about our faith. Your mother was a shinning star and was never afraid to be a witness for the Lord.
Always keep your eyes to the sky as her light will always shine!
You have been in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be.

My dear friend I will miss you. I have a lot of great memories of Lesia. We worked together in the church to help make it a better place to worship by giving of our time Lesia of course was a great lay speaker Bible Study teacher and entertainer she had a flair to make people stop and think. She was my best friend and I loved her dearly we worked together making other peoples homes sparkle and the road trips to conference was an event I will keep to myself ( laugh ) . Lesia had a way with people she never met a stranger she was kind sweet caring and loved her LORD with all her heart. She visited many churches to tell her story of her journey thru her illness. We will meet again when it is my turn and I know she will greet me at the pearly gates with her beautiful smile and yes she will say well Ethel what kept you? I will say well Agnes I am here now! I will as I promised you to watch over Amanda and be here for her anytime. I will miss you and know I loved you dearly my friend.

Try as I might, I am having a real tough time finding the words to express my overwhelming sadness right now, especially for not having seen Lesia again before her journey on earth ended. To Lesia's family: May God's presence comfort you; peace be with you. To the EGHS class of 1979: We graduated 35 yrs ago; how can that be?! it is both comforting and saddening to sit here and think of all of you, knowing we share many memories of our dear classmate with the beautiful smile and eyes that simply sparkled. May she rest in peace.

Lesia was one of the most positive and upbeat people I ever met. Wherever she went at Keyser Primary Middle School, she brought a smile to everyone she encountered. She was indeed a classy lady. She will be missed!

Rick, Shirley, and Amanda,
I know that people usually say how sorry they are for your loss which we are also, but we are also rejoicing for Lisa. She is up in Heaven talking to not only your Mom and Dad Rick, but also her Daddy and baby sister that she loved so much. She is also up there talking to Charmaine about how cold this past winter was. You know we are not suppose to ask WHY and I know that it is hard not to ask that question, but we also know that the good LORD has his reasons also. He doesn't take you till the last hair on your head is counted. Lisa was such a joy to be around and I can still hear her laughing that silly laugh she had. She could always make anyone that was down laugh. She was just that kind of person. She never met a stranger, cause like she would say a stranger is a friend that you haven't met yet. She will truely be missed by all that knew her and I am very sure that the kids she helped out with at school and church will greatly miss her also. If you all need anything that we can help with please just give us a call and if we can help we will be there for you.
Love and Prayers,
Donna, Larry, and Shum

Rick, Amanda, Shirley, and all the family,
Darl and I love all of you and will continue to keep you in our prayers. I have so many lovely memories of Lesia. We laughed together, cried together, praised God, and were in ministry together. She was my friend, but more importantly she is, and always will be, my sister in Jesus Christ. I look forward to the day I'll see her smiling face again.
I know the days ahead will not be easy for you. Lean hard on Jesus. God doesn't always do what we want but He always does what's best. (Proverbs 3:5-6) Lesia knew this. She was wise beyond her years. Along with so many others we have been blessed by her life.
