Thanks to Uncle Larry for some great childhood memories. My sister Chris and I would fly from Denver to Maryland as little girls to spend summers at the farm in Oakland. Often Grandad, MawMaw and Uncle Larry would be at the airport to pick us up! Then it was game on -- apple wars in the tree house, pony rides, swimming at the pond and an occasional wheelie on his motorcycle. When he deployed to Viet Nam, the entire family was so proud of his service and so worried about his safety. I remember MawMaw being glued to her black & white television watching every bit of news coverage. Everyone thanked God when he came back home. He was a remarkably happy, kind person throughout his entire life and never lost that special laugh. Hugs to his children Stephanie, Steve, Sherry and Bryce, his grandkids, as well as his wife Tracy and siblings Dorothy (my mom), Aunt Georgia, and Uncles Gene and George.

Tracy,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. He is finally at peace, no more pain. He was one of the finest men I ever met. Go rest high on that beautiful mountain and fly with the angels, my sweet friend. I will miss that smile! Tracy, I am here for you whatever you need.
Love ya!
Joell

Our deepest condolences to the Glotfelty family. May God give each of you comfort now and in the coming days. Eugene "Pappy" Smith worked for the Glotfeltys for a few years after his retirement from the coal mines. Up until Pap passed, whenever we would go into the store for service, Larry or Gene would always ask about him. RIP Larry. God certainly gained another angel.

My heart and prayers go out to all the Family! May our loving God grant you His peace and comfort.
Larry was my cousin; my family (5 children) visited the Glotfeltys (5 children) many summers during our childhood days. Many fond memories made before we got so busy with our own lives and our own families!
