In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Daniel Sharpless and wife Amy, Kari Hugel and Chad Burawa, Pastors Krystal Shreve and husband James, Barry Sharpless and wife Myrna, Jimmy Sharpless and wife Amy, Deanna McNeil and husband Aaron, Esther Nicole Sharpless, Ashley Edge, Cheyne Sharpless, Kristi Sharpless and Krista Beiler; special sisters, Dora Kitzmiller and Jackie Funkhouser; grandmother, Charlotte Gross; seventeen nieces and nephews; and the loving staff of Appalachian Crossroads. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Duane Elliott; paternal grandparents, Janice and Lynwood Sharpless; and an uncle, Bryan “Mark” Elliott.
