He is survived by two sons, Larry E. Steyer and wife Karen of Oakland and Steven R. Steyer of Addison, PA and former wife Barb Steyer of Mt. Lake Park; grandchildren, Judy A. Steyer, Katie M. Steyer, James E. Steyer and girlfriend Stephanie Henline, Chad E. Steyer and girlfriend Tina Dewitt and Cara L. Keller and husband Luke; great grandchildren, Cheyenne Garrett, Caitlyn Steyer, Nevin Steyer, Hannah Everett, Brianna Steyer, Logan Steyer, Dustin Keller, Jordan Clary, Samantha Keller, Connor Clary and Mason Keller; and a brother, Lee Steyer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Jennette (Moon) Steyer, in February of this year and a brother, Everett Steyer.
