She is survived by a sister, Helen Nine of Silver Spring, MD; a step-daughter, Donna Licklighter and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William D. Ryland; brothers, Harold Van Bachtel, John Lee Bachtel and Bernard Keith Bachtel and a sister, Grace Marie Ault.
