He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Judy (Hinebaugh) Martin Cosner; his children, Thomas Melvin Cosner, Jr. of Eckard Mine, MD, Kathleen Trinks of Marion, NC, Michele Cosner of Oakland, MD, Anjanette Barker of Nampa, ID and Thomas Melvin Cosner, III of Corinth, WV; step-daughters, Karen Paugh of Oakland, MD and Becky Ashby of Crellin Maryland; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four brothers, Bruce Cosner of Petersburg, WV, Lawrence Cosner of Mt. Lake Park, MD, Gary Cosner of New Creek, WV and Russell Cosner of McKenny TX; three sisters, Clellie Paugh of Mt. Storm, WV, Belvia Lewis of Corinth,WV and Mildred Rexrode of Swanton, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Richard Cosner, Hilda Kuhn, Zetta Massey, Alice Hipp and Martha Davis.
