Obituary of Bernadette Hottle

Bernadette Hottle, 88, of Elk Garden, WV died Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital in Oakland. She was born on June 21, 1926 in Elk Garden, the daughter of the late John Joseph and Margaret E. (Hickey) Droppleman. She was a cook for many years at Elk Garden school. She is survived by her husband of years, Kenneth M. Hottle; four daughters, Margaret Day of Accident, Jane Stewart and husband Donald of Elk Garden, Rita Braithwaite and husband Bill of Elk Garden, and Tammy Gillispie and husband David of Elk Garden; eight grandchildren, Crystal Hall, Brandon Hall, Marshall Stewart, Louie Stewart, Samatha Jackson, Kenny Braithwaite, David Gillispie and Brandi Gillispie; six great-grandchildren In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Michael Droppleman; and a sister, Margaret Kalbaugh. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Wednesday, April 8th from 6 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, April 9th at 10 AM with Father William K. Matheny, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Kalbaugh Cemetery, Elk Garden. .
