He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Norma Rea (Liller) Hinkle; a daughter, Patricia Ann Hickey of McCoole; two sons, Roy “Olen” Hinkle, Jr. and wife Debby and James Allen Hinkle and wife Patricia, both of Oakland; grandchildren, Robert, Michael, David and Roy Hickey, Kathryn Slagel, Lisa Hastmann, Nathaniel Hinkle and Heather Hairston; great grandchildren, Brandon, Robert, Kaitlin, Brittany, Travis, Troy, Ryan, Cody, Austin, Gabrielle, Kaitlin, Christa, Michael, Andre, Alexander, Andrew, Wyatt, Dillion, Savanna, Zoey, Caleb and Jonah; one great great grandson, Owen; and a sister, Geraldine Flowers of San Bernadino, CA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Lynn Hinkle; a brother, Ronald Hinkle; and five sisters, Velma Snyder, Elsie Sponaugle, Helen Roth, Ruth Barron and Reba Guilliams.
