In addition to his mother, he is survived by four children, Shawn Vance of Oakland, Sara Gardner of Mt. Lake Park, Rachel Delaney of Eglon, WV, and Adam Vance of Swanton; three sisters, Pat Reall, Carol Calhoun and Sue Sheltra; a brother, Mike Vance; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Vance and Josh Reeves.
