She is survived by her son, John Allen Sharps, JR. and daughter in law, Sandy Sharps; daughter, Sue Sharps Rickert and son in law, Marshall Rickert; grandchildren, Philip John Sharps, Carrie Rickert Root, Lorne Marshall Rickert and wife Kristin Leigh Rickert; and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, John A. Sharps; a son, Donald William Sharps; a granddaughter, Michelle Renee Rowlands; and a great granddaughter, Victoria Christine Sharps.
