He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Alice A. “Ali” (Nicely) Evans; four children, Sonya Kupchik and husband Joel of Ohio, Alexis Torrisi, Thomas Long and wife Melissa, and Erin DiBacco and husband Shannon, all of Oakland; eleven grandchildren, Jakob, Arianna, Jewel, Pierce, Lexi, Heather, Jeffrey, Bethany, Christopher, Nickolas and Amanda; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Verla Kay George of Bellington, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey W. Evans, in 2000.
