I just heard about Bill's passing.I called my son,Lee Brown,to let him know and we ended up talking about what a patient ,loving man he was to a very scared toddler who didn't like Bill White's buzzy red comb and how much he cried even though he was trying to be so brave.We'd go to Grandma Murphy's after every haircut so she could touch his hair and show her how good Mr.White made him smell.You all have felt like family to us and we wanted to let you know that we send our love and prayers to you all at this time.I can't begin to name all the people in our family who enjoyed the time we spent at the barber shop talking and laughing and catching up on everything going on in our lives.From my brothers,Donnie and Phillip's first haircuts and for Easter every year for many years to come...so many wonderful memories and stories.He will be missed and never forgotten.

My condolences to Bill's family. Bill was a wonderful man and a great picker. I remember him giving my oldest son haircuts when Gene and I came to Kitzmiller to visit. Gene spent a lot of time with Bill picking' and grinnin'. He gave a lot to the community besides hair cuts. He gave his best to all who knew him.
