when i first met jr in 1995 id never have guessed what a great friend he would end up being thru the next 21 years. he tried to be a good influence also but he sure had his work cut out for him! i went out to eat with jr a few days before he got the halo he certainly deserved and he showed me his home he literally built with his own two hands amazing man. ill never forget you jr!

Dearest family,
I am so sorry to hear of your recent loss. Through hard times such as these it is comforting to look to the hope God has provided us for the very near future. Notice what the Bible says at Revelation 21:4. It says there, "and He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more. Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." What a wonderful time that will be . A time when pain, suffering, and death will be things unheard of. We will see this promise fulfilled in the very near future. Wishing you all much comfort through this difficult time. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Family,
It was very sad to learn of JR's passing. Jim and I so enjoyed traveling with him on the Aging & Family Services Bus Trips!
He was so much fun and really seemed to enjoy being together with family and "old & new" friends on the motorcoach! He was a proud veteran and we were honored to know him.

JR would do anything for anybody at anytime. He was always "up for it" if you mentioned to him "let's do this". He had a vigor and enjoyed life. He was one of the few people in this world you knew you could count on. He was a good man and we have suffered a great loss of a lifelong friend. Sincere sympathy to his family. He cared for you so much and this was obvious in every conversation with him the closeness he had with you.
